Another good year in music is (almost) gone. I wish I could say it was an excellent year in music but I can't. I mean, there were pretty goods records in 2015 but none of them really stood off like Yeezus in 2013 or Transgender Dysphoria Blues and RTJ2 in 2014. Given this homogeneity, I've had a really good time thinking about and making this list because it was hard to select only 10 records, many missed making the cut. This is my Top 10 Albums right now but maybe in a month I would change two or three records and put Myrkur's M or Publicist U.K's Forgive Yourself or Riverside's Love, Fear and the Time Machine or Tenement's Predatory Headlights... This post marks the resurrection of TOP FIVE. I have to admit that lately I've been out of ideas for TOP FIVE but for a few days now I've been reading Kraftwerk's biography Publikation written by David Buckley which made me revisit Kraftwerk's discography. It is an amazing book that I highly recommend to not only Kraftwerk's fans but music fans in general. It's in the book that somebody once said that Kraftwerk is the most influential band of all time and I've got say that I totally agree with that, just listen to electronic, electro pop, industrial or even pop music from the '80s to nowadays and you'll hear Kraftwerk's influence in all of them. These German gentlemen were way ahead of their time.
